Fordland recieves National Ranking

Fordland High School is one of the schools in Missouri considered among the best high schools in America according to U.S. News & World Best High Schools Report.  Fordland High School is ranked 61st within Missouri. Students at Fordland High School have the opportunity to take Ozark Technical College classes, Dual Credit College classes through Missouri State University,  Advanced Placement® coursework, and exams. The AP® participation rate at Fordland High School is 29% and the District graduation rate is 97%.

U.S. News & World Report is the gold standard for education rankings and is widely considered the global authority.  The factors considered in compiling the list include college readiness, reading and math proficiency, reading and math performance, underserved student performance, college curriculum breadth and graduation rates. College readiness measures participation and performance on advanced placement and international baccalaureate exams.

The data also takes into account school enrollment, student diversity, participation in free and reduced-price meal programs, graduation rates and the results of state assessment tests.
